Change Orientation Of Android Emulator On Mac

I’m stumped on this issue involving rotation. I created a res/layout-land/activity_quiz.xml and it shows correctly in landscape mode in the ‘Graphical Layout’ view in Eclipse. But, when i run the emulator and rotate the device via ‘Ctrl + F12’ the device rotates but the view does not change.

Furthermore, when looking at LogCat I do not see calls to onDestroy() and onCreate(). I tried adding android:configChanges=“keyboard keyboardHidden” to my AndroidManifest.xml file and overriding onConfigurationChanged() yet I never see that method called. My minSdkVersion == 8 and targetSdkVersion == 19.

Change Orientation Of Android Emulator On Mac

1.Before changing the mac address of your android device the first and foremost important thing to do is to know the existing mac address of your android device. To find that just go to the settings and scroll down to About Device and click on Status. Other Device Keys. In the updated emulator you don't have to remember the keyboard shortcuts -- they have added a side panel to the right side of the window. You can change the screen orientation by clicking either of the 'rotate' buttons in that side panel. Just click on Rotate button to change the landscape to portrait and vice versa.
