How To Set Up A Split Screen On Mac High Sierra For Powerpoint

Hello everyone! I have a presentation coming up next week and I want to use power point 2010. The issue that I have is that, even though I know how to create a descent presentation in power point I would like to know if there is any possible way of having 2 screens, where in my laptop's screen will be displayed a text that will help me with my presentation and which I will be the only one that can read it, whereas on the projector's screen will be displayed the ACTUAL presentation in FULL SCREEN where the audience will be watching! I know how to have the actual presentation on both screens (laptop's and projector's) or on my laptop's only or on projector's only!

The case is that I want text in my laptop.presentation on projector! Thank you in advance! Hi The feature your looking for is Presenter View. You can activate it via Setup Slide Show, on the SlideShow Tab.

Check the option Show Presenter View in the bottom right corner. As long as you have two monitor display support you'll be fine. You can use the option above the setting to control which monitor output shows the presentation. If your setup to show the presentation on both you screen and projector you may need to revert back to showing on just the laptop screen before this will work properly. G North MMI Thank you I will try it.:).

I searched it on google and kind of had a feeling it was because I was using dual monitors. This is what I found - Is there any way to fix it? When I try and go on a different screen once my mac is unhooked to my other monitor, I'm not able to drag the pp back on my screen. The only way to fix this problem is by opening display preferences and changing the screen size.

Is there another way to keep it from doing this without having the open display preferences? I take my mac to class everyday and opening pp everyday like this gets pretty annoying. I use a workaround, but I don't have a solution.

I use a 3rd party donationware application named Spectacle () for moving and resizing application windows. I use the 'Next Display' and 'Previous Display' keyboard shortcuts to move windows between multiple displays and move 'orphan' windows to my only display (when I disconnect my MBP from my monitors).

I've included a screenshot of Spectacle's Preferences - I've modified several of the standard shortcuts for my own usage, look in the upper right corner for the two shortcuts that I use to move windows between monitors. I've noticed that applications that were issued before ML's 'Spaces' came out act like this more often than not.
