How To Switch To 3 Tab View In Outlook For Mac

Every time I click out of my inbox, all changes I have made to the View or sorting messages have reset / changed back on their own. I tried saving the view as the default view and it still resets on it's own. I have to go back in and change the settings (organize tab, drop down, arrange by, etc.) every time. I want to sort my inbox by the date message was received and not show conversations, so I uncheck the box and have to change the sort by setting every single time. This happens if I am just switching over to view the calendar or if my computer falls asleep.

Click to open the folder you want to restore its initial view, and click View > Current View > Messages or other view as you need. Click View > Current View > Customize Current View. In the popping up Customize View dialog box, please click the Reset Current View button at the bottom.

Like Sierra 10.12.5 2. If possible, could you please set up your account on another Mac with the same Outlook version, does the issue persist? Thanks, Lance. I have been having the same problem as Scarlet, though the View automatic change seems to be somewhat erratic-it does not happen every time I open Outlook for Mac; nor does it occur with every mail account. This, like all the other issues many of us are having, started with the latest update.

I am using Sierra for Mac 10.12.4, in Safe Mode. Outlook for Mac version 15.35 (170610) I do not have another Mac on which I could check Outlook. I do use an iPad, but the problems with Outlook caused me to switch to Apple Mail on it.
