Expected behavior After installing and copying from an existing Docker machine, the Docker for Mac application should start up in a reasonable amount of time. Actual behavior Upon installation, I copied from my existing machine and then the application said “Docker is starting” for a period of around 15 minutes. After quitting the application, I stopped the machine from the command line then re-ran Docker for Mac, and the application entered the “Docker is running” state within a matter of seconds.

I would assume that this is due to the machine already running, but being unaware of the internals of operation I’m not quite sure.
