Pentax's K20d utility CD S-SW74 will not install its software on my Mac (OS 10.4.11). Pentax's other K20d CD (S-SW75) installed Remote Assistant just fine. But here's what happens with the S-SW74 disc. My Mac loads the disc and presents me with a Pentax Installer icon. I 2-click the icon and am presented with your Pentax Software Installer window. I 1-click the English button and am presented with the Pentax Camera Utility button. So far so good, but then I can go no further.

When I 2-click or 1-click the Pentax Camera Utility button, nothing happens. I've ejected and reloaded the CD-ROM, rebooted my computer, the works, but I can never get past the Pentax Camera Utility button. In frustration I 2-clicked the Product Registration button. That presents me with a window with a map of the world. I click on the letters U.S.A. And am presented with a Register Your Product window, with a list of links for product categories.

Canon pixma mg6821 driver for mac. I 2-click Digital Cameras and nothing happens. In fact nothing happens when I 2-click ANY of the product categories links. I'm wondering if the S-SW74 disc works ONLY with Mac 10.5+. I know some Pentax CDs wouldn't run on Mac 10.5, so maybe in trying to solve that problem, Pentax has created another one. I've called Pentax Coloradofor advice and they told me they didn't have a clue and that I should check with SilkyPix and Apple. At any rate, I'd appreciate it if other K20d/Mac OS 10.4 users posted their success or failure with the S-SW74 disc. Reports of same from K20d/Mac OS 10.5+ users would also be helpful.
